Ingredients
- 400g de Roasted peanuts
- 1/2cup de Sugar
- 1tablespoon de 50% cocoa powder
- Chocolate drink mix (e.g., Nesquik)
- 1/2cup de Iced coffee
Instructions
Grind the 400g of roasted peanuts in a blender until a coarse flour forms.
Dica: Sift the ground peanuts after processing.
Add the sugar, 50% cocoa powder, and chocolate drink mix to the peanut flour.
Dica: If you prefer, use only the chocolate drink mix instead of the mixture of chocolates.
Incorporate half a cup of iced coffee into the mixture.
Dica: Add the coffee gradually until the mixture reaches a rollable consistency.
Shape the mixture into the desired cashew shapes ('cajuzinhos').
Dica: If you make them smaller, the recipe yields more units. The sweet treat might be slightly soft initially, but it will firm up in the refrigerator.
Refrigerate the candies for a while until they are set.
Dica: The peanuts tend to harden slightly; the consistency should be soft but firm enough not to fall apart.
