Instructions
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and the dulce de leche.
Dica: It is not necessary to whip the cream; the goal is just to mix until smooth.
Firmly mix the ingredients with a whisk (or a spoon) until the mixture is completely uniform.
Dica: You can use a spoon if you don't have a whisk.
Transfer all the cream mixture to the final serving dish.
Crush and distribute the layer of Speculoos cookies (or graham crackers) over the cream.
Dica: If using Speculoos cookies, they will add a hint of cinnamon flavor.
Refrigerate the dessert to set for a minimum of 4 hours.
Dica: The dessert tastes even better when thoroughly chilled.
After chilling, dust with cocoa powder (optional) before serving to add an extra layer of flavor.
