- 1tablespoon de butter
- 400ml de milk
- 3tablespoons de cornstarch
- 1can de Coca-Cola
- 3tablespoons de cornstarch
Instructions
Peel the three bananas and slice them into rounds on a cutting board.
Transfer the sliced bananas to a saucepan and add approximately 5 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of butter.
Cook the mixture until the sugar begins to caramelize and the bananas soften.
Dica: The ideal stage is reached when the sugar caramelizes.
Using an immersion blender, blend the caramelized banana mixture until you have a smooth cream.
In another saucepan, combine 400 ml of milk with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and whisk well before heating.
Cook the milk and cornstarch mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and reaches the ideal consistency.
Dica: The ideal stage is when the cream achieves thickness.
Pour the blended banana cream (from step 4) into the saucepan with the thickened cream (from step 6), mixing well.
Transfer the finished cream to a serving dish, cover it directly with plastic wrap (touching the surface), and refrigerate.
Dica: Cover with plastic wrap directly touching the cream ('contact').
In a third saucepan, add one can of Coca-Cola and whisk in 3 tablespoons of cornstarch.
Bring the Coca-Cola mixture to medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and the ideal stage is reached.
Dica: The ideal stage is when the syrup thickens.
Remove the cream from the refrigerator and pour the Coca-Cola syrup over the top.
Return the dessert to the refrigerator until it is completely firm and chilled before serving.
